Green Bean Problems

So, as happy as I am about my budding green bean plants, I'm running into some issues.

1.  Ants on the green beans

I notice some holes on a few leaves, and when I took a closer look I found these little black ants.

Cheese!
Chatting with a friend

I'm not sure what kind of ants they are.  They are small and black and fast.  I tried out the trusty Borax and sugar mixture that works so well when fire ants get into my beds, but NADA!  They are still there!!!

I'll find out what they are, how to 'deal' with them, and I'll get back to you.

2.  My bush green beans are flopping over on their sides

Flop!

???

Stand up!

I'm really confused about this.  I've never grown green beans before.  Do I need to stake them or cage them like my tomatoes?  Dad say's they'll straighten out.  I guess I'll just have to be patient.
