Not being one to give up on something that tasty, I decided to grow my own green beans this year and try making them again.
I settled on 3 bush style varieties:
Tenderette
Nash
Festina
Some of my seed didn't come up, so I'll be planting some more. I hope it isn't too late!
I can't wait!!
ooh pickled beans, never tried those. I've just planted some bean seeds over here, but it's too cold for them to go outside yet.
ReplyDeleteIf I can perfect the recipe I'll post it. The lady at the farmers' market has me hooked!!! They are crunchy and dilly and sometimes spicy!!
